The world’s fastest electric bicycle?
Car manufacturer Audi has launched a new design of electric bike, the Wörthersee, that, it claims, can enable riders to achieve speeds of up to 50mph when the bike’s electric motor is used in collaboration with good, old-fashioned pedal power. Top speed using the motor alone is a comparatively tame 30mph and range of the new bike when in ‘motor only’ mode is around the 40-mile mark....
