Why is the DfT blind to the effects of car clubs?

Following up your piece “Frustration as DfT retains negative remarks in ‘smarter choices’ guide” (LTT 11 May), Carplus has prepared a detailed response to the DfT, which is available on our website. We were dismayed to read that the DfT believes that “there is little evidence about the impacts of car clubs and car sharing schemes and their application is not currently widespread”.
