Council seeks new depot site for HS2

Birmingham City Council is to press the Government to find a new depot location for trains using the proposed London-West Midlands high-speed rail line. The current plans envisage a depot being built at Washwood Heath in Birmingham on land formerly used by train builder Alstom and van builder LDV.
