Bus operator appeals determined
The DfT determined just seven appeals brought by bus operators against local authority concessionary fare reimbursement schemes in 2011/12, the Department has revealed. Although the DfT received 28 applications, 21 were subsequently withdrawn. Of the seven that were determined, two were dismissed and five were upheld by the independent decision-makers.
