Manchester gets first cycling ‘hub’

Cyclists inManchester are set to get their own ‘transport interchange’ beneath a city centre office block. Plans to create a ‘cycle hub’ at the City Tower in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens have been announced following the award of £4.9m by the Government last year to boost sustainable transport and create 13 bike hubs in Greater Manchester.
