Monorail production beings in Brazil
Bombardier Transportation has opened a new monorail vehicle manufacturing facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The US$15m production facility will be Bombardier’s global production centre for monorails, the company says. The first railcar bodies and bogies are already being manufactured there and the first completed monorail cars are expected to come off the assembly line later this year.
