Public square plan for Waterloo

Two new office buildings would be built on York Road.

A new public square in front of Waterloo railway station is a key feature of a major redevelopment plan for the area.

Developers Chelsfield and London & Regional Properties submitted a planning application last week to the London Borough of Lambeth for the redevelopment of Elizabeth House, adjacent to the station.

The new Victory Arch Square would be created in front of the station....
