‘Allow cycling in Cardiff’s parks’
Councillors in Cardiff have called for cycling to be permitted in most of the city’s parks. A byelaw currently prohibits cycling in parks and green spaces except where signs expressly permit it. Cardiff’s environmental scrutiny committee says the byelaw should be repealed and replaced with one that provides a default position allowing cycling except in designated areas.
