Development plan for York rail lands
The City of York Council is preparing to consult this summer on a draft planning framework for York Central, 35 hectares of rail-locked brownfield land to the north-west of York’s railway station. Network Rail, the National Railway Museum and Yorkshire Forward cancelled the search for a development partner for the site in 2009 because of the global economic crisis.
