PTEG and CPT support BSOG compromise
The Passenger Transport Executive Group and the Confederation for Passenger Transport have both expressed support for the compromise the Department for Transport has reached over the devolution of Bus Service Operators Grant. The reforms will see a proportion of BSOG devolved to local authorities, whereas PTEG had been arguing for full devolution and CPT had been wary of the implications for operators of local authorities controlling how the grant is spent.
