Train operator prepares roll-out of Dutch-style station bike hire
Dutch-style cycle hire facilities are to be set up at 50 stations in England under plans to get more rail passengers to complete their journeys by bike.
The facilities are among projects to be part-funded from the DfT’s £15m Linking Places Fund, of which £8m is going to cycle-rail projects via Cycle Rail Working Group and £7m to Sustrans projects.
