Funding deal for West Mids speed cameras
Councillors in the West Midlands this week approved funding that should enable speed camera enforcement to continue in the next financial year.
The conurbation’s planning and transportation sub-committee approved council funding of £88,700 for the maintenance of active camera sites. “The cameras will definitely be running next year,” committee chair Tom Ansell told LTT after the meeting.
