Safety audit endorses Exhibition Road shared space design

A road safety audit has given a green light to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s flagship shared space street design on Exhibition Road.

RBKC plans to replace the traditional street layout with a single surface – i.e. no kerb – in which routes for pedestrians will be delineated by the use of a black gully cover and corduroy tactile paving.
