Toolkit aims to cut council consultant costs

A new 'toolkit' published by the London Centre of Excellence (LCE) aims to help London's borough councils get better value for money from their consultancy services. The guidance, drawn up jointly by the LCE, City of London Corporation and the borough of Hounslow, is aimed at cutting the £170m bill that borough council's spend on consultancy services each year.
