Burscough Bridge interchange, Lancashire

Work has started on developing Burscough Bridge station into a transport interchange. Facilities at the station, on the Wigan North Western to Southport line, will include: a staffed ticket office providing bus and rail information; a heated waiting room; a cafe; CCTV; secure cycle parking; and a new car park layout. The work should be completed by November.
