HS2-HS1 link revised
HS2 Ltd is developing new proposals for linking the High Speed 2 London – West Midlands line with High Speed 1, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. TfL and Network Rail have both criticised the current plan, which includes making use of the North London Line. But TfL’s managing director of planning, Michèle Dix, said the DfT had instructed HS2 to come up with an “alternative solution before the initial scheme design freeze in October”....
