Northamptonshire will not be applying to pilot lane rentalKent County Council will launch a public consultation next week on plans for a lane rental scheme.
Transport for London last week became the first authority in the country to implement lane rental under which daily charges are imposed on streetworks and roadworks undertaken on the most traffic sensitive parts of the capital’s road network at the busiest times of day (LTT 30 Mar).
