TfL announces cable car opening and fares
Transport for London has announced that its ‘Emirates Air Line’ cable car system will be opened on June 28, a month ahead of the Olympic Games. Passengers will be able to take the first ‘flights’ on Thursday 28 June. The 1.1km system will cross the Thames linking Greenwich and the Royal Docks, and two key Games venues – The Excel and O2.
