Split SE rail franchises and give me the commuter routes, says Johnson
Transport for London is pressing the DfT to split up two rail franchises in the South East and pass the management of the inner suburban services to the mayor.
Boris Johnson outlined his desire to take more control of the capital’s heavy rail services in February but TfL has now put more detail on the proposal (LTT 17 Feb).
