Build busway now, Cambs urges developer

Cambridgeshire County Council is calling for the developer of a new town beside the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway to commit to building a busway through the area in the first phase of the development.

The comments come in response to the outline planning application submitted by Gallagher for phase one of Northstowe new town to South Cambridgeshire District Council.

The town, lying north-west of Cambridge, could ultimately have 9,500 dwellings and the first phase will see up to 1,500 homes...
