New tram passenger forecast revealed
The year one passenger forecast for the Edinburgh tram has been reduced to 5.4 million passengers following the decision to truncate the route to run only between the city’s airport and the city centre, The Herald newspaper has reported. The paper obtained the figure following a freedom of information request. The tram route is due to open in 2014.
