Planning advisers back transport assessments and travel plans

Travel plans and transport assessments should remain integral parts of planning policy in England, a panel of advisers has told ministers.
The recommendation comes in a draft National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) prepared by the practitioners advisory group, a four-man body set up by minister for decentralisation and planning Greg Clark last December.
