Derbyshire cuts buses and concessionary fares
Councillors in Derbyshire have approved plans to cut £3.1m from the council’s annual £7.2m budget for bus services, discretionary school transport, and discretionary concessionary fares.
Funding to 42 bus services will be withdrawn between April and October and efficiencies will be found in many other services, saving £1.3m.
