East Anglia set to stage vertical integration trial
Go Ahead chief executive Keith Ludeman has revealed that the Government intends to carry out a vertical integration trial when a new long-term Greater Anglia franchise is let in two years’ time.
The current franchise ends in February 2012 and will be replaced by an 18-month interim contract that is currently being tendered while the Government considers reforms to franchising policy. But Ludeman said that buying time to make a vertical integration trial feasible as soon as possible...
