Shaftholme Junction, Doncaster

Network Rail is consulting on plans to build a flyover at Shalfholme Junction, north of Doncaster station. It would separate freight trains from passenger services on the East Coast Main Line and enable line speed improvements and increased frequency. The scheme is part of the project to provide improvements for freight trains running between Humber ports and the Aire Valley power stations.
