Major schemes face delay as Yorks grapples with RFA funding ‘spike’
A number of major transport schemes in Yorkshire and Humber face years of delay in order to fit available budgets, local authorities in the region have been told.
The DfT asked the region to remove a ‘spike’ in the RFA in 2014/15 when the region’s proposed spend is three times the indicative allocation. The Department says the variance should not exceed 150%.
