Give car clubs fiscal incentives – Bristol

The Government is being urged to abolish vehicle excise duty on car club cars and exempt car club vehicles from congestion charging. Bristol City Council has proposed the ideas as part of its Sustainable Communities Act submission. “The money saved could be used by the car clubs to reduce costs for member use or for marketing, member offers and helping to provide greener vehicles,” says Bristol.
