Greater Manchester Transport Fund schemes
Work has begun on the Manchester Metrolink tram extension between Droylsden and Ashton – one of the schemes being funded by the Greater Manchester Transport Fund. The schemes will be delivered as a result of pooling of funds from a variety of sources available to the ten authorities that make up the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan).
