If only the Association of British Drivers and similar groups had the influence that Robert Davis (Letters LTT 20 Dec) implies. During recent years, at the heart of the speed camera era, the number of road casualties killed or seriously injured has increased1 at odds with police statistics as trotted out by the DfT.
