Save rural bus services says CBT
A manifesto for saving rural bus services has been published by the environmental transport pressure group the Campaign for Better Transport. The group wants the DfT to include a range of powers in the Local Transport Bill to enable local authorities to improve rural services, including tendered network zones (as recommended by the Association of Transport Co-ordinating Officers) and Quality Contracts.
